GaidMe was born in a basement in Stavanger, Norway, when an equal amount of passion and frustration came together. Passion for people, technology and agile methodology. And frustration over how hard it can be to move people from inspiration to action. 
 
Everyone in our founding team has felt what it´s like to work in great places, under great leaders. And we´ve seen first-hand what happens – and quit our jobs – because of a lack of uplifting company culture, conscious leadership and leaders that don´t  “walk the talk”. 
 
Before GaidMe, many of us have been building companies, in Norway and in the Middle East. So we know it´s not a walk in the park. We´ve been leaders ourselves, struggling, failing and learning the importance of culture and leadership. The hard way! 
 
Fortunately, we´ve been lucky enough to learn from some of the best along the way, and see what´s required to bring people on a successful journey. But we all wish we´d gotten more tools and help along the way. So when we are building Gaidme, we build something we ourselves would have wanted back then. 
 
The global engagement levels show us that the vast majority of employees are either not engaged or actively disengaged, highlighting a widespread issue in organizations around the world. We believe that can be changed! 
 
We´re surrounded by breathtaking technology giving us limitless insight on what the best are doing on culture and leadership worldwide. In GaidMe we embrace and use tech as an enabler, but ultimately it's the people who make the real difference, shaping success with their passion, creativity, and collaboration.
